Catapult making with Mrs Tourell

We had to get popsicle sticks and rubber bands, a milk bottle lid and something to catapult. Henry

To make it you need 7 popsicle sticks, 4 rubber bands and one milk bottle lid. Elliot

Putting the rubber bang in the middle of the sticks was hard. Aimee

Making sure all the milk bottle lid was on properly was hard. If it wasn't when you tried to the milk bottle fell off when you tried to catapult something. Lucy

You have to glue the milk bottle lid on to stop it moving! Charlotte

It was really hard to measure how far it flew when it went over 1m. Elliot

It was hard to get the rubber bands on. After 3 loops it didn't stretch enough.

We also did some writing with Mrs Tourell about a mouse being for sale!

Mrs Tourell told us to watch the video three times and then we had to write about what we watched. We wrote what it would be like to be the mouse after it got bought. You could have been the mouse or the boy.

Aimee	First the two boys came in and luft at him because he had two big ears.Then there dad called when they left the shop another boy came in with headphons on because he had big ears too.The mouse tride to tall him to tirn around he got a been and put it on the sea saw and jumped on the high end and the been went on the weel he tride to get it down he spun it then it fall on his head the bug luft at him.
George	There was a maws for sail in a pet shop. The frst pepol wher  as men as men can be.The 2 boy that came in was cinder lick Jams the maws
Nathan	I was wating for someone to buy me two boys came in they saw me I waged my big ears they thort it was funny so they poked meny facse at me I filt sad a slater lrffed at me
Henry	Henry wrote his in his book because the computer wouldn’t work!
Charlotte	There was a  mouse that had floppy ears.  the boy didn't   cera about him and  worked of. the masses was not happy and mouse  wouldn't feel happy either. the boys name was birine 2 years later…….. ‘we are going on a holiday.said brin. a holiday!!!!!!!!! said the mouse
Riley	at the start  kids cam in and made fun of the mouse.the mouse was feling sad. the slatr was macing fun of mouse two.
Lucy	In the pet shop there was a mouse that no one wanted because he had really big ears.Once there was 2 rude boys come into the pet shop and they were really mean to the mouse and they didn't buy the mouse.Then came in a boy who had headphones.The boys name is brian.The mouse tried really hard do get the boys atenchan.He got the boy atenchan relly fast with a penut  and the boy bought the mouse.2 weeks later… “We are going on a holaday”said Brion. “A holaday!”said the mouse.
Bella	There was two boys in the shop and a mouse the two boys were being  men because the mouse had big ears and then another boy came along and tock the mouse because he had big ears and the boy had big ears to that is whi he tock the  mouse because they both have big ears to now they
Elliot	at the pet store there was a boy that came out with a green paroit. inside the pet store there was an unusawall mouse because it has big ears. two boys came in and made fun of .him the owner of the pet store said nock it of. so they left the store. a nother boy came in and he was tring to see if there was eny thing in the cage where the green parit came from the mous hit him whith a slater to take notice of him then the boy bout him then they went to a park they went down the slide six times and left.
Addi	First the two  boys came in and were men to  the mouse they were bulling men face they were making  fun of him because  he had big  ears .   Then  another  boy came in  with headphonos    and look at the  fish  then he came to the mouse the mouse wobbed his ears then the boy came over and   pulled  his headphofes of and wobbed his ears toothen bourt him and of he went. then they   went to the beach and then they went for a swmming at the swimming pool. and then they went to get  some food  they got  hambu and lameingtion then they went home.Then they went home and  made ice crame  and  sit  on the cheaer then they went to bed it woud of bean a good day.
Alfie	forst a man came out with a palet.Nekst two mean people came and made mean faces like big ears and then thaer dad    up then thae went ha a  nd clind on to the car and wented to the soprmaket
Cameron	in the shop the door open  there was a little pet they saw the pet they  came over to the pet they stared at the pet they laughed at the pet it was sad but they thought that it was ugly and they made fun of it.
Josh	at the start a boy comes out with a bird and he took him home. then some other boys come in and look at the  rat and they laughed and laughed. then someone  come in with head phones and hid his ears. the rat got hit with thing hard.then someone .took him home. he got hit two times. a bug laughed in the store then the rat got angry
